| I know a lot of people in MSOL doesn't drink. Which is a good thing, alcohol can be very addictive at times.
However, last night while I was at the club, I chugged down a Four Loko and sipped on mixed drinks the whole time I was there. Before I entered the club (after chugging that Four Loko) my chest got really tight, though it was a little painful I just sat down for a little while and it went away. So, of course, I resumed dancing on the floor, had fun with China, etc.
Whenever China and I decided to leave, we went to Taco Bell. After we got done eating, almost immediately my chest got really tight again. It was the most excruciating pain I had ever felt in my life. (I have a really high pain tolerance, this almost brought me to tears.) I called my boyfriend up, he told us that I was experiencing a precursor of a heart attack. Of course, the pain itself did feel like I was having a heart attack, but I still can't imagine that I was about to go into Cardiac Arrest!
China said it could have possibly have been a Panic Attack, however I wasn't (and never did earlier) experience any type of fear/terror/anxiety. When I woke up today, I searched and searched and searched to find the reason that could possibly caused it, but really came up with nothing.
So, MSOL, do you know what this possibly could be? It's happened to me before while I drank Smirnoff frequently, but that was a couple of years ago. I never experienced this while drinking hard liquor or beer, and I've had Four Loko's before but this is the first time I ever did this. |

| So is this the first time that you've had that much to drink on top of the Four Loko? I suspect that if it was more than usual, then the stress of the Alcohol, plus the stress of partying, plus the caffeine from the Four Loko caused you to overexert faster than you may be used to. If you were having a heart attack, judging from the pain you experienced, you'd be dead by now. Otherwise, heart attacks don't hurt badly, it feels more like heartburn, if you feel it at all.
I'm an Eagle Scout, been a Boy Scout for years, and I've done a lot of First Aid training, I think I know what I'm talking about. |

| From what I hear, Mixing the wrong drinks can lead to a bad night. Plus whatever you ate before that could have something to do with it. |

I'm an Eagle Scout, been a Boy Scout for years, and I've done a lot of First Aid training, I think I know what I'm talking about. Well I do definitely drink more heavy than what I did last night. The amount I drank last night is basically child's play to me, seeing as I have grown a high tolerance. I don't believe Four Loko has the "energy drink" mixed in the alcohol like it used to, it was sending too many people to the ER. Therefore it became illegal to sell Four Loko like that, though I can see where you are coming from. I generally don't chug a Four Loko like that, because it's definitely more potent than a beer it's size. XD Also, I don't doubt that you know what you're talking about, but I do have to say a precursor to a heart attack is different than an actual heart attack. The symptoms that I was having definitely sounds like a precursor. They all come in different forms, some tight on the left/right side of the chest while experiencing pain in the arms and/or shoulders, or even having a pain throughout the whole chest that feels like either a small child standing on your chest or even feeling like a knife is going through your chest (which is how I felt last night.) I don't know what to think, it's just scary. Apparently you can trigger a precursor due to constant abuse of alcohol within the body, which I do have to say myself I haven't been... careful... with my drinking. Beer pong, chugging, captain dick head, the whole nine yards I've been doing for months straight now. I can see why my body is doing this. But I still refuse to believe I was about to have a heart attack. |

| I would ask a doctor. If this happens again, it could be worse. |

| Isn't Four Loko alcohol mixed with an energy drink? There's a huge possibility it was your body's reaction to mixing alcohol with energy supplements. I had a friend that would drink heavily on top of Stacker 2 and stuff like that and it would mess him up pretty bad, chest pains, light headedness, etc. |
